Rosie

Adopted: 2017-12-07

There is always a lot to be thankful for during this holiday season.  Rosie wants to share with you what she’s most thankful is for! But first she wants to tell you a little about herself.Rosie is a 5 year-old petite 40 lb. English Setter. She was used as an Emotional Support dog.

She is well-trained and knows all her basic commands. She is crate trained and walks well on a leash. Rosie did not have it easy in her job and was treated very rough. Luckily she was removed from that situation but it left her very cautious and lacking self-confidence.

She has worked very hard the last month to build bonds and confidence in her new situations and is doing wonderfully. Rosie is ready to look for her forever family. Her forever family would be a quiet home with no small children and fur-kids on the calm, mild side. Rosie needs an understanding tolerant family who will give her an opportunity to trust and continue to build her confidence. And a family that will love her for her funny little language she speaks!

So what is Rosie thankful for this holiday season: The special person who helped her when she was being mistreated, ACES who took her in when she needed a place to go, for foster parents who love her unconditionally and last for the forever family Rosie knows that is out there for her!
