I lost my home this year, so I'm very lonely. Could you please send me a new forever home and a new family to love for Christmas?
Batman is a bright, healthy Setter full of life and love. He was on the run after his owner died. Neighbors said that Batman came over for dinner every night at 5 pm on the dot! He was able to survive by his wits and maintain his body weight on neighborly hand-outs. Even during tough times, Batman was a charming fellow, winning fans to help him find his way to rescue.
Batman is housetrained. He will go to the door and sit when he wants to go out. He is crated overnight and will settle down quickly. He is up to date on all shots, has been vaccinated, neutered and tested negative for heartworm.
Batman is a very loving guy. He quickly grows fond of his humans and shows it by sitting obediently, coming when called (indoors), shaking hands and sitting on laps if you let him. Outdoors he’s a classic Setter. He loves long energetic walks. He pulls on the leash but is learning to heel. He’s much more interested in chasing squirrels and other small animals. Batman's forever family will need some space for him to exercise and a fence to keep him safe
Batman melts hearts. He has a very endearing character and charming demeanor. His foster family’s relatives and friends all fell in love with him as did the vet staff. Batman is much more attracted to humans than other dogs. He’ll pay a little attention to other dogs, but is happiest when alone with his humans. As such he would be best suited in a home with no other dogs or cats. The person who found Batman originally had a cat that Batman loved to chase so your cat most likely would not enjoy Batman's company. His only time with children was with an experienced 8 year old where Batman was just as loving. He would do best with children aged 6 or older.
Batman will make an amazing, loving and loyal pet for his forever family. Batman's letter to Santa asked for a forever home for Christmas. Can you help Santa grant Batman's Christmas wish to be home for the holidays?
