For the past 20 years, ACES has matched more than 2,000 English Setters and setter mixes with committed adoptive families. We have provided compassionate foster and veterinary care for these dogs in need.
Requests to help homeless setters have decreased significantly over the last few years. Today, there are more avenues to help dogs in need than ever before. After serious and thoughtful deliberation, the ACES board has determined that our foster and adoptive services are no longer needed. We’d like to think that this change in rescue landscape is a positive step for the breed.
Since we are dissolving our rescue, we encourage all adopters to transfer their dog’s microchip registration from ACES to your contact information. Please click here or use the Contact Us form to request a change in your dog’s microchip registration.
We’d like to thank all of our dedicated and selfless volunteers and the generous donors that have supported ACES for the past two decades!
