Another Chance for English Setters (ACES) is a national organization of volunteers who willingly give of their time and talents to rescue homeless English Setters. ACES strives to place each dog with an adopter who will make a loving commitment to a rescue dog. Giving a rescue dog a safe and secure home can be extremely rewarding.
Since its inception, ACES has helped more than 1,700 English Setters. We think English Setters are the best dogs around!
Gulliver became an ACES dog this past March. It was obvious at first glance that this sweet boy was lame and seemed to be in pain. We acted quickly to get him vetted and we discovered that he needed a total hip replacement. The costs to help this loving boy have exceeded $5,000; continued therapy and ongoing care will bring the costs even higher.
Grab your cameras and your setters and get ready to participate in one of our favorite fundraising projects, the annual ACES calendar! Now is the time to submit your photos to be featured for a day of 2010.
